-Training Programs- State Street offers both introductory training as well as on-going training. The Corporation offers entry-level paid training programs designed to provide an introduction to various aspects of our business and concentrated on the operations principles necessary to perform the specific jobs. Skill Modules Our Skill Modules Program is designed for staff in order to have further their understanding of our products and services (i.e. portfolio investment and administion) . Every module consists of 'theory' and 'practice'. In the first half of the program, the facilitator goes through background information of the products, services and all parties involved so as to understand the exact role we play in a big picture, i.e. the 'theory' part. In the latter half, the trainees themselves do calculation, accounting and mainframe input exercises. At present we have 12 programs up-and-running.
